Since 10' o clock this morning, Iv'e been trying to scan a 40 page document in.
I've reinstalled the software 6 tiimes, ON BOTH PC'S .
I've run the scanner doctor too.
Really it's just been a waste of time and I'm seriously disappointed to see that HP quality is not what it used to 10 years ago,
Neither is customer service (Unless you pay for it!)
Now you have to resort to asking the community and try to help each other out , or so it seems.
I regret buying HP printer scanner now and wish I had got another Epson MFP instead.
I'm sick of seeing all the various screens that ask to join the make the product scheme...
I don't want to join!
I bought a product and it should work without my having to join every scheme under the sun.
I don't want to re-register, nor login so why ask me every time I start the Hp Smart App?
I don't want to print from other devices either!!
It seems like HP like every other company is more interested in COLLECTING DATA than having a product that works flawlessly...
Why do I need to login into some server's on the other side of the world? when my PC is DIRECTLY connected to the printer?
And after all of those "STUPID" steps I still get the same stupid message...
SCANNER - IS -BUSY!!
Its not busy !!! (Trust me... I'm sat right next to it!!!)
When I emailed support@hp.com my email bounced back...
So is the the state of the world today?
You buy a product from a "Well known" company, it works for a year then its problem after problem?
You try to get support and are expected to pay for it!
So what's causing it?
Can someone at HP tell me? Or do I need to go to see someone with a crystal ball?
Disgustedly yours,
JD
