The "remove and reinstall ink cartridge" error message appeared just after I changed my internet service. My printer is set up wirelessly and connected to my new internet service. I have tried every version of hard reset that I could find.
I also use non HP cartridges and they were working just fine until the internet service change. Not sure if my problem could also be related to a recent firmware update. I was trying to find a download for a previous version of the firmware, but I can't seem to find one for the HP 4522, only other models. This is an older printer, manufactured in 2015, so in theory it should be eligible for a firmware downgrade. I would like to try this.
Any advice on how I might fix? and whether it is a firmware update problem or maybe has to do with my change in interne
