Product: HP Envy photo 7155

I just purchased an HP ENVY photo 7155 and it will not connect to the WiFi.  I tried utilizing HP support chat, that was a JOKE and absolutely no help at all!  The printer lists the WiFi name I am trying to connect to but will not connect to it.  I tried the steps provided to me by "support" to no avail.  I have also tried holding down the "button" on my router from another support community board but that did not resolve my issue.  Does anyone have a solution in laymans terms to help me?
