Product: Officejet Pro 9020e

I got a new printer today and it wont' let me setup. First it said I needed use the setup ink cartridges, which I am using.  I removed and reinstalled so many times now it is saying "New, unused cartridges must be used for startup."  I have the setup cartridges installed.  How do I bypass this or reset the cartridges?  Really don't want to return printer.
