I am attempting to create a "Scan to network folder" capability. The printer is connected via a Ethernet. It prints fine. I can scan from the WIN10 PC via the HP program with no problems. When I use the "Scan to network folder" wizard, all goes fine until I save and test. Then I get the error: Your Printer cannot connect the server. Please edit to correct server name and address.". Have verified UID, password, IP address of printer and WIN10 PC, folder on WIN10 PC is shared, have set folder as private and then public - no change. Have used IP address and computer name in setting Network Path Name - no affect. I have changed SMB 1.0/CIFS File sharing support from unchecked to checked. No change in error: "Your Printer cannot connect the server. Please edit to correct server name and address." I have run tracert at the cmd line for WIN10 PC - successful, no errors.
Any suggested help would be appreciated.
