I use WIndows 10 64 bit. I bought the Office Jet Pro 9020 series printer months ago. I downloaded the full option to set up my system as a wireless one, The Smart App was what is always recommended, and if I don't opt to get it and try installing other things that the experts here have suggested- I get a pop up telling me that there's an update. When I update- it's the HP Smart again. When scanning- there is no OCR option as there was on my previous HP printer. I even bought the IRIS OCR program and I can't get that to work with my printer either.
Scan only gives me the document or photo options in the window, I can't edit or realign anything. I can only save to PDF or JPG.
I am able to use my doc feed when scanning, but it only saves everything into one file. I used to have the option of scanning a bunch and then saving them individually. I am VERY FRUSTRATED. I did read where other options were suggested like Irfanview etc. I've used Irfanview and Microsoft Scanner options and for some reason they don't work with my printer.
Please help.
