macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I just reloaded all the macOS software on my iMac, 2015 release.  I was and still am running macOS Big Sur 11.5.1.  Had some issues so completely wiped the computer and reinstalled macOS and then my applications.  I reloaded from Mac App Store a fresh copy of East Scan.  It loaded fine and starts to run, but then gives me this error message:  "Sanner reported an error     Office Pro 8600 (C7A2C0) is currently unavailable.  Please check if it is turned on and connected. or try again later."     It is turned on and is connected via Internet.  I've cycled the power and it still won't run.  I just loaded HP Smart App and it will scan just fine.  I like HP Easy Scan and have used it for years on this same computer and printer.  Not sure, but I think it worked after updating to Big Sur 11.5.1.  Can't see why it Easy Scan can't see the printer (scanner).  I can print from this iMac to the 8600 with no problems.   I'm using the same Internet account I've always used with it and the same one the printer is set up to see.  I just printed to it with my iPhone and it worked just fine.   Any suggestions?   most of the other entries here are pretty old.
