A Windows 10 PC was hacked by a scam fraud "HP Printer support".
After the hack, the PC is replaced and the iPhone is wiped out. The Router is also replaced.
When in contact with ESET antivirus support, they say it's a theoretical risk that the hacker has installed malware in the printer.
1. Is it possible to do a factory reset of a HP ENVY 5544 K7C93A?
2. Will that wipe out malicious code installed into the printer, if any?
We don't want to start the printer on the WIFI network until we are sure it not will re-infect other devices on the network.
3. The third question - is there any place to send information to HP about the hackers that pretend they are HP support.
