My notebook won't detect the screen, although it does work fine with external screen. The notebooks screen just stays black and won't be listed on the detected monitors.
I flew back home a few days ago from a trip to which I brought my pc. After I first noticed this I tried:
. Restarting (obviously)
. Updating drivers
. See if the ram wasn't plugged in well
After that it did work for a while and then blackscreened again. I tried updating the bios but the update failed and the health diagnosis from de hp center just keeps saying that the diagnosis isn't available although I already updated it. I strongly believe it has something to do with the bios (F.06) but I don't know why it won't just update. Or maybe it's something different.
Would appreciate some help, really need to study for my exams.
