Product: HP Photosmart C4700 All-in-One Printer series

Adobe Flash is supposedly needed to use the scan feature of the Photosmart C4700 series of printer. Adobe Flash is no longer available. How do I use the scan feature now?

Is there a fix to this situation ?  I really need to scan documents at this point.
