Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Lost the ability to scan documents to email.  The Update Apps function on my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 gets the following the error message "The list of print apps on this printer could not be updated. Try again later" for the last several days.

 

I have installed HP Smart and HP Easy Scan with no success for fixing the problem.

 

Suggestions??
