I'm having 2 problems with the black ink on my printer. I'm using an HP 63 XL cartridge for both black and color inks right now.
When black inks get printed, they are sometimes a little streaky, most visible in the black box on this print quality diagnostic page. It's not egregious, but I've gone through several clean cycles now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Also, even after the paper has been printed and sat for a while to dry, sometimes when handling it, the black ink smudges under my finger, most visible at the end of the "Print Quality Diagnostic" header in this picture. Is there anything that can be done about that? I don't like getting the ink all smudgy and having to wash it off of my hands, and the same problem doesn't happen when I try to smudge the color inks.
