Hello!
I've bought a HP 9010 Printer a couple of months ago and all was fine and rosy. I really liked the Instant Ink solutions but above all the Security Monitoring and Print Anywhere options. I've even used Print Anywhere a month ago where I needed some things printed by the time I got home.
Today I wanted to do the same but I found that if I am on a different network than the printer is hooked up to, I get "Unavailable" for the printer's status. That was weird. I wanted to check what happened but when I got home and had my phone on the same network, after I tapped on the printer, there was no longer a "Print Anywhere" option neither Security Monitoring.
I haven't changed anything in the setup of my phone, laptop or printer so I don't know what's up. On the HP Smart website, my printer shows as enabled for Print Anywhere and for the Security Monitoring but in effect those solutions don't work for me. Any help would be appreciated.
What I tried so far but didn't work:
- Uninstall and reinstall HP Smart app (both on phone and laptop)
- Change the Wifi connection on the printer
- Restart and reinitalise the printer
