For many months I have been happy with how I can initiate a scan directly from my OfficeJet Pro 8710. It allowed me to scan directly to a computer on the network. This was a powerful feature that saved me from having to run back to my desk to press the start button on my computer. Now when I try to do this the OfficeJet Pro 8710 keeps saying it can't find any computers.
I tried restating the OfficeJet Pro 8710 and it still has the problem. I have the latest HP software. It confirms that I have the latest drivers and firmware. I'm currently on Mac OS 12.6.
I tried to see if I can setup OfficeJet Pro 8710 to scan to a network folder. But the instructions seem to be only for Windows and not Mac. For Mac I'm only told to use HP software and figure it out myself. I'm using HP software and the only option is to start scanning from my computer with no option to set up a network folder or to setup scanning directly to my computer.
Can someone help me in getting me a solution that allows me to initiate a scan from the OfficeJet Pro 8710 directly to a computer or a network folder?
