Hi All,
I purchased my printer (new) around July 20, 2020 and barely use it. It is a home printer that I use occasionally to print out documents, etc. Cartridge levels are: Black: 90%, Cyan: 80%, Magenta: 90%, Yellow: 90%. Pages remaining are around 550+ for the 90%s, and 400 for the 80%. These are the original HP cartridges that came with the printer.
No matter the print method, whether it is copying, printing a test page, printing from the computer, etc. is very light and poorly printed. I've tried cleaning it, aligning, powering it off and on, gently rocked the cartridges, etc. but no changes to the output.
Following is a Copy that I just did compared with the original.
Anyone have any suggestions? Can toner go bad after a certain period of time or lack of use?
I'd hate to buy all new cartridges and find that this printer has the same issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
