Product: HP ENVY 5032 All-in-One Printer

The printer scan feature on the HP Smart app tells me it is not supported by the selected printer despite the fact I have used this many times before, is there a way of fixing this? Using the scan feature on my work windows 11 laptop works fine so wondering if this is an issue with the Apple version. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, rebooted the iPad and the software on the printer is up to date, Ipad is running IOS 16
