HP Recommended

I have been using compatible ink in my printer (which came with its own problems!) and I decided I would never do that again and always buy the genuine HP ink - my ink ran out and I replaced today however my printer now has a 'Printer Failure' error - I've reset the printer as per the instructions several times, I have taken the ink out and put back in and it still has the error - can anyone help?
