Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased two new ink cartridges (HP56 & HP57, and used them intermittently for 3 months. The color cartridge no longer prints in color, only in a weak red. The black is becoming faint. I have used this printer and these cartridges for the past 15 years at least, and have never had a color cartridge get used up so quickly. I hardly print in color, maybe one or two pages a week. Is there any recourse from HP? Do I just accept that the quality has gone downhill and I'll need to spend another $100 for the two new replacements? I have always gotten at least a year or more out of a cartridge, even when printing a lot. Is there anyone out there at HP who is listening to this quality complaint?
