HI 

Hope you and yours keeping safe and well.

 

I have a HP Envy photo 6230 All-in-one printer on my home wireless network. My W10 laptop can see it, print to it and receive scans from it no problem and it features in HP Smart on that laptop. 

 

When I try to add the printer to my new W11  laptop through Hp Smart it  lists the printer and shows it as 'Online' but when I select it HP Smart says 'Select a different printer HP Envy Photo 6200 series must be turned on to add it to HP Smart. Once the printer is turned on, tap OK to refresh, and then select the printer again"

oddly, behind this message the printer is now showing as offline (But it is not offline because the other laptop is still connected to it)

 

When I follow the instructions and say ok HP Smart searches, finds the printer again, which is online, but when I select it goes offline and get the message above again!

 

Thank for any help as I don't know what to try
