HP Recommended

I printed a document fine. The next page had parts missing so I thought my ink was low so I changed the cartridge. It still would not print black ink even on the alignment page. So I put the old cartridge back in and it says that ink supply is fine. It just will not print. I printed a printer status report which came out fine.
