Product: HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

My printer suddenly stopped printing clearly. Black ink is 1/3 full and color is 2/3 full, but it's behaving as if they're almost empty. When I print test pages, alignment pages, status reports, etc, it's streaky and the "black" parts are actually purple. No black text appears on the test pages... why is this happening? I've tried all the troubleshoots...cleaning the printhead, aligning, manually cleaning the cartridges and printheads with distilled water, unplugging the printer for 60 sec, I've gone thru all of it. Maybe new cartridges will work, but frankly, these cost me like $50 each, I shouldn't have to replace cartridges that aren't even close to empty.
