Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP SmartTank 6000. I have never been able to get it to connect to Verizon FIOS wireless router. I have it USB connected to one machine and I can run the Network Wizard. I can find my network, enter the WEP password, and the wizard will say it is connected. The blue light on the printer remains flashing, though, and if I check network status on the app, it still says it isn't connected and I don't see it connected on the router admin page, either. 

 

I have also tried the wireless app from my laptop and it will switch to a direct wireless connection and go through its steps, but the printer fails to connect.

 

I haven't found a system log or anything to indicate where the connection attempt is failing nor do I see any sort of error message pop up. 

 

Multiple other devices connect without issue.

 

Are there any other diagnostic steps that I can take? Is there any additional information that would help isolate the issue?
