Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

Like many other users that have posted, we have Two identical 9018 printers, both of which are connected to an internet enabled Wifi and our 2 PC computers.  A few days ago, an automatically downloaded software (presumably firmware) update failed with the message "The printer update could not be downloaded". The options are "Retry" or "OK".  Retry will show the update downloading but with same result message.  OK reboots the printers and they are fine (can print or scan) for only a few minutes then they unsuccessfully attempt to download again with the same message.  Printers off and unplugged doesn't work.  Factory reset on one didn't work.  Both printer diagnostics show that they already have the current firmware updates.  Both printers worked just fine for years until this update.  Please assist.  johnrconrady@**bleep**.com
