Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer

My fax machine just stopped working a few days ago.  I maybe get 10 faxes a month and send out less.

Did the test and this shows up "The Printer's fax component has become damaged and cannot perform the fax test."

How does that happen when it is used so little?
