Product: HP OfficeJet 6950 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Please note my macOS  is Ventura 13.6.1 - there is no drop-down option for this.

The scanner has stopped communicating with my mac. It is wireless set up and has been working fine. I went on holiday and turned everything off but when I turned everything on again it now will not communicate.

It prints wirelessly no problem.

I have

1. removed the printer and drivers, restarted and reinstalled everything.

2. Reset the router

3. Reinstalled all the HP software

4. disconnected printer from the network and reattached it.

 

Everything will work if I USB hard wire it but that is not convenient. for me

On the printer when I press SCAN it says no computer found

When I open the HP Utility app I get an error message that the scanner cannot be found.

Therefore I cannot turn on "Scan to computer.

Preview does not see the scanner

HP Easy Scan does not see the scanner - see attached images.

I have run out of options and ideas
