Product: HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

Our networked Officejet 4650 printer has had nothing but a blue screen after (we believe) we put it in hibernation and tried to turn it back on. We have tried removing the power cord and then plugging everything back in.  For similar cases you have suggested updating the firmware - but is there a way to update the firmware without having a usable screen? In any case auto firmware update had been selected.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
