I could use same Android phone print to same printer two three months back. Now HP Smart could see my printer online but when start printing a photo (as a simple test), it said could not find printer.

 

The printer is connected to a wifi router via cable. I have my laptop and my Android phone connect to the wifi router via wifi. My laptop could print to the printer successfully. But my Android phone could not.

 

The same setup has no issue months back. I have upgrade HP Smart to latest version, clear cache, allowed all permissions required. But still could not print from my Android phone to the printer.
