Printer Ink Cartridges & Print Quality

Hello and thank you in advance for your time I have been using the Hb smart app with my laser printer for years now today when I went to print some photos, it came app different for lack of a better way of explaining period when I try to select a photo and want to go to the preview and before I had options to to manually change the size and other options before printing now that option is no longer showing up and I can't seem to find it question mark How do I go about resizing resizing an image manually like I used to do and why is this no longer available?  Now I only have an option to select from recent work otherwise I have to keep scrolling down I can't go to the main menuyou and choose files or photos as I used to and then it says switch to work question mark and when I try to select that it says this is blocked by my ad man I am not allowed to do that with a personal app.

 I simply want to be able to send an image from selecting print photos from HP smart and then once the image comes up I could for lack of a better term grab it on screen with my fingers and pinch it to squeeze it down to size and it would show the size manually changing until I had the size I wanted how do I go about getting that back question mark thank you again!
