Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a HP smart tank 5100 printer, and the printer remains offline all the time. Whenever I need to print or scan, I should unplug it and plug the printer again, to get it online. 

It remains online for a few minutes and then goes back to offline, and I have to repeat the cycle of unplugging and plugging the printer to get it working.

 

can anybody advise what do I need to do?
