Is there a way to get the 7410 All-In-One printer set up and working with Windows 10? I'm OK with just using the USB connection if the wireless is incompatible at this point because of OS.
HP Officejet 7410 All-in-One Printer has always been hard to install, but once installed it has worked like a charm. It's been in storage and we bought a new HP printer when the TWO printers we use had problems. The new one (HP Smart Tank 7300 series) works and we love the ink, but it is very cheaply made and unreliable (often goes offline, hard to restart, etc.) so I wanted to hook up the old, reliable one as a backup.
It isn't installing properly... I keep getting a SCANNER FAILURE error. Haven't tried to scan, but OK...? When I tried to check scanner, it says it needs to be setup and is missing the driver. I used the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it bombed on Driver check...
Very frustrating when the printer still works, but it seems that in order to sell more printers, HP has decided not to update software that will ALLOW it to work.
