Hello,
I have received a few dozen calls this past year about HP printers that all conveniently stopped working shortly after an update, or right after the warranty ends. (What a coincidence!) It's getting noticeably more frequent as the models get newer and newer.
This time it's an OfficeJet Pro 8035e. The unit is unable to connect to wifi, it cannot be shut down, it just says 'shutting down' for several hours. Unplugging and plugging back in doesn't fix anything. Factory reset is not making any difference.
This one's warranty just ended, just received an update, then conveniently stopped working.
Why does HP keep doing this to their own customers? At what point does it become fraud?
