My "HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer" is not scanning. 

I can print documents as usual, 

When I try to scan a document using "HP Smart", the following error message wil pop-up:

 

"Couldn't Connect to Scanner

HP Smart cannot scan from this printer. Either no

scanner was detected or HP Smart is not compatible 

with the scanner in this printer".

 

This issue started 2 days ago.
