HP Recommended

My HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 will not let me login. I have factory reset it 5 times with the same result, the password lock on the web admin website will not go away.This is the process I have been using to factory reset the device.

 

  1. At the home screen button presses, 1 up, 1 down, 2 up.
  2. Reset menu
  3. Factory OOB reset

This seems to be a firmware bug, but basically bricks 75% of the functionality of the printer. If anyone has been successful in removing the password in any other fashion please let me know. Please don't respond with perform a factory reset, I have already done that 5 times.
