HP Recommended

My HP Envy 6055e is not printing and only glows amber, with no other lights displayed. 

I have tried:

unplugging my printer, waiting 60 seconds, and replugging my printer directly into the wall.

replacing my paper

making sure my ink cartridges are secured

paper tray intact

This started after a paper jam, which I cleared, and now there are no other issues or obstructions visible. My printer starts up and glows amber, will not print anything, and does not display any error codes or other lights. I have tried to contact customer support to no avail. This printer has given me so many issues over the last 3 years that I have owned it, that I am considering throwing it away and never using HP again. Please help.
