My HP 8600 pro plus recently stopped working, after HP installed an update, which does not allow aftermarket ink to be used.
My screen says "problem with printer or ink' - - and won't let me get to the screen, or to the setting menu.
How can I remove these blocks, to allow the use of aftermarket cartridges?
How can I get to a screen which might allow me to uninstall the recent HP update?
I have over $80 in aftermarket ink, and no HP cartridges to even try.
If I purchase another $50 or more in HP cartridges and the printer still doesn't work . . . then what?
