I've already contacted Dialpad.

 

They specifically support the Poly ATA 402 for fax calls.

They offer no support for Poly ATA 402 modem calls.  They didn't say that it doesn't work, they just don't "support" it - as in they don't let us open a ticket on it.

If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, I suppose, and we'll try something else.
