I posted a thread a while ago regarding an issue with pairing my Poly 85 to my mobile phone:

This has persisted through updates and resets. However, since yesterday, the headset is now boot looping. What I mean by that is that the headset state is off and I turn it on. I have the voice status activated, so the female voice says: power on, battery high, pc connected, phone connected. Then a few seconds later, the USB dongle goes dark and I lose the audio stream from my pc. A few seconds later again, the headset reboots on it's own, and the voice repeats: power on, battery high, pc connected, phone connected. This then keeps looping.

 

There are no updates to the headset, dongle or Poly software. I have reset it several times since this started yesterday.

 

Any tips would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

Using Poly Lens Desktop or Mobile would show if there are any updates for the Headset or Dongle.

 

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

There are no updates as explicitly mentioned in my original post.

It isn't boot looping today, but now the charging stand isn't charging it.

Update: it's not charging via USB-C anymore. The voice guidance has given up.
