Poly Voyager Surround 85
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Poly Voyager Surround 85 headset, Wireless Charging Stand, and HP Elite x360 1040 G11.

When the headset is charging on the wireless charging stand (included with the headset) and is plugged into my notebook, as soon as the notebook goes to sleep the headset starts beeping intermittently every 5 seconds. it drives me nuts, and I have to take the headset off charge whenever I am not at my PC.

This problem also occurs when i plug the charging stand into my HP Thunderbolt Dock G4, which then connects to my notebook. This all happens when the headset's power switch is in the "off" position, btw.

Can someone please help?? I have tried factory resetting my headset, letting the battery drain fully and then charging again, updating to latest software/firmware versions, reinstalling Poly Lens, using a different notebook. nothing seems to work.

Hi @Analymous Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I'm really sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Voyager Surround 85. I completely understand how important it is for your headset to be working perfectly. Let's work through a few troubleshooting steps to get it back on track.

  1. First, please check the notification settings in the Poly Lens application. Try disabling notifications and see if that resolves the issue.

  2. Next, on your Windows PC, go to Sound Settings > More Sound Settings > Communication. From there, select Mute all other sounds and see if that helps fix the problem.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.

the solution doesn't help in my case. the only solution is to totally reset the headset. Also, the On/Off switch is useless.
