I got my notebook (255G 8 with Ryzen 5300U) back from repair...
Customer service told me before the repair that they want to replace the motherboard.
The repair center in poland did the following:
- OS reinstall for complete problem solving
Reset your PC to the original operating system version that was sold with your PC.
So I got it back with Win 10 Home 20H2!
This is absolutely embarrassing.
Nobody has analyzed the problem, but just deleted all data and then deliver such an outdated software version...
After connecting the system to internet, I got Windows 11 Home and a lot of new system driver and the reboot problem is still there!
Don't buy an HP system in future!!!!
Edit: BIOS is F25 (no newer version available).

For now you can just disable virtualization in bios, and wait for new firmware...
Because of that I send my notebook to HP repair center and inform customer care about this thread.
But they didn't figure out this issue...
A very ***bleep***service.

Same issue on Ryzen 3 5300U, running Manjaro Linux. I have wasted so much time diagnosing hardware, reinstalling drivers, kernel, even the whole OS...
Also turning off virtualization doesn't help in my case.
I'm glad this thread popped up. HP customer support is absolutely ***bleep***, there isn't one email or phone number to report the problem to. Unacceptable, will return the laptop if this isn't resolved soon.
