G62

Is there any way to load a USB driver on the Poly/HP G62 Codec. Trying to connect a TSI Touch overlay to the USB on the G62. Need to load a driver to make it work. Is there any way to do this?

Hello @SK19781 ,

 

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

 

For a single unit, no, End Users do not have access to the filesystem of the device.

 

For multiple units it depends on the sales opportunity etc. 

 

I suggest you contact a HP Poly Sales Rep in your region and/or a HP Poly reseller so we can look at a feature request to have this tested etc.

What about the G9 HP/Poly PC (9J687AA kit). Would access to the PC be available to load a driver or would that also require a feature request? Can we get to the operating system to add a driver? Thank you for your help.

Welcome back to the HP Poly community.

 

The Poly G9 is a standard Windows PC and the person setting this up has default access to the OS aka Windows and can load additional drivers etc.

 

Our Partner Microsoft may not support this so that is something you would need to check with the Microsoft Team.
