Designjet z6800 5 ink cartridges missing - all installed, worked yesterday

Have a Designjet Z6800 plotter.  All ink cartridges installed for a long time.  Plotted yesterday, today says 5 of the cartridges are missing.  Won't detect replacement cartridges either.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Remove the cartridges and check the internal contacts on the ink tubes assembly  ..they tend to be a bit delicate..

Thanks very much for your response!  Reseating and cleaning the contacts was the first thing I tried.   The weird part for me was the plotter changed the status to no cartridges overnight without being reset or anything.
