Hi,

We’re looking to move to Teams Telephony and the Poly CCX 350 and Poly CCX 505 have been procured for this proof of concept.

I’ve currently got the Poly Lens Portal configured, this will be used to provision/enroll our devices and keep them up to date, bypassing InTune (that’s my take on it) however, this is not set in stone.

Device Details:

Make/Model - Poly CCX 350

Software Version - 9.3.1.0062

  1. How come the device is showing as offline in the Poly Lens portal?
  2. How do I get the device to automatically appear in Teams Admin Center from Poly Lens? (I guess by provisioning the device in Teams Admin Center first, or is there an agent or connector?)
  3. If we were to use InTune (not sure if Poly Lens and InTune can work side-by-side), how would we get the Poly CCX devices to provision in InTune prior to the user signing in? The reason for this is because I want to prevent users from registering devices in InTune themselves, if we can manage that from an IT admin perspective that’d be great.

Thanks.

Hello @IT_Tele_Guy ,

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

From our VoIP FAQ:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I set up my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <= and you need Poly Lens now to get access to Poly Software.

Basically:

  • set up a DHCP option to automatically assign the phone to Poly Lens.
  • Once set to connect to Lens configure the Device to be in Microsoft Teams mode
  • Sign in via the displayed on the phone

Ensure all ports on the firewall are open so the Phone can communicate with Poly Lens

Oct 11, 2011 Question: How can I troubleshoot configuration Issues via Log Files or the phone GUI?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

You can use the logs to try and understand your issue and/or work with the Support team in your region.
