Please tell me the disk size of the Edge E220.
Target Release: PVOS8.2.2
1) The specification now stores up to 6 files when a Core File is generated.
I want to confirm if the phone can store 6 files.
2) If a 7th file is generated, is it specified that older files will be deleted?
Actually, an failure occurred where a Core File was generated.
The cause is currently under analysis.
Upon checking, the Core File was 11MB.
We would like to consider how to utilize Core Files operationally.

Hello @Kazuya2 ,
believe I have already shared what can publicly shared and phone details can be found in the >data sheet<
The FAQ article shared clearly explains how many Core Files can be stored and as a user you should not worry about these.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

Hello @Kazuya2 ,
Welcome to the HP Poly community.
From our VoIP FAQ:
Feb 16, 2016 Question:What is / are the core.tgz file on a provisioning server?
Resolution: A core dump is uploaded by the phone if a phone crashes for some reason. Please provide these to Poly support for further analysis.
Since PVOS 8.2.2 Poly Edge E Phones can download the Core Files via the Web Interface
NOTES:
- We will NOT see the core dump files in the web UI if the phone successfully uploads the core dump files to the provisioning server.
- Up to 6 core dump files can be downloaded from the web UI.
- The core dump zip will also contain the app log from the time of crash which will make it easier to troubleshoot random reboot issues.
Core Files are for HP Poly support and cannot be diagnosed by End Users. You are using an outdated software so please upgrade to PVOS 8.4.0
If you need help on your current software please open a support ticket with HP Poly support and have them look at these. Details are in my signature.
Best Regards

Thank you for your answer!
However, I knew this specifications.
I apologize for my poor phrasing.
I have two questions:
1. Please tell me which the Edge E220 has enough disk space to store six core files.
Please tell me disk size of the Edge E220.
2. What happens when the seventh core file is created ?

Hello @Kazuya2 ,
As stated already, core files are for HP Poly support and not for end users. You cannot open them or analyze these as they are encrypted for Poly Support.
You are running an outdated and unsupported PVOS version and I urge you to update this.
Log files are usually first in first out aka the oldest one is deleted when the newest one is created. Core files are usually uploaded to the provisioning server if this is available.
If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.
Best Regards

Hello, @SteffenBaierUK
Thank you very much for your response!
I understood that log file (Core file ) is first in first out.
Could you please answer the following questions?
=======
1. Please tell me the disk size of the Edge E220.
I want to know if the Edge E220 has enough space to store six core files.
=======
And,
Please rest assured, I am aware that core files can only be analyzed by the support department.
I will also consider upgrading to the latest version.
Best regards

Hello, @SteffenBaierUK
Thank you very much for your reaponce.
I have reviewed the datasheet, but it did not contain the information I was seeking.
However, if it is acceptable for users to disregard it, then there is no issue.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Best regards,
