We are attempting to create UK digitmaps on our handsets - that currently use US digitmaps.
The reason for doing this is that users have reported that with the handset lifted off (Off hook dialling), then can only dial the first 3 digits of a UK number before getting a series of beeps from the handset.
If they leave the handset on the handset, and then dial the number - they are able to do this without getting the 3 beeps. The call connects correctly.
We have added the following to our policy for this Device Model, under Call Configuration | Global
Dial Plan: [2]xxx|[1-9]xx|[1-9]xxx|[1-9]xxxx|[0]xxxxxxxxxx
Dial Plan Timeout: 3|3|3|3|3
[0]xxxxxxxxxx - covers UK 11 digit numbers staring with 0
[1-9]xxxx - covers internal 5 digit number ranges
[1-9]xxx - covers 4 digit internal number ranges
[1-9]xx - covers UK Service Numbers such as 999, 100, 101
[2]xxx - covers 4 digit internal numbers starting with 2 - should be covered by [1-9]xxx - covers 4 digit internal number ranges but we put it in whilst testing.
Issue:
Despite adding these rules, users still cannot off-hook dial any of the ranges these digit maps should cover. They still get beeps after dialling the first 3 digits.
If they dial on-hook - the call can be made OK.
Model: VVX 250
Firmware: 6.4.3.5814
Serial Number: <removed>
Can anyone share thoughts / solutions as to why this is happening - is there an error in my configured dialplan.
I have also tried directly putting this onto the phone using the Web Utility - but the problem persists.

Thanks Steffan.
Apologies for the delay in reponding. The referenced link is helpful - particularly the troubleshooting part with the correct logging options to enable in order to troubleshoot any incorrect digimap syntax.
