UCS 5.1.1 introduced new features and functionality and as part of this the Web interface is no longer active when the phone is in LYNC base profile mode.

UC Software 5.5.0 or later disabled the functionality to have either HTTP alone or HTTP and HTTPS in combination and enforces the phone to utilize HTTPS only.

The Persistent Single Sign-On / PSSO policy does not allow unsecure HTTP and the httpd.cfg.secureTunnelEnabled="0" Parameter is therefore invalid

NOTE: Before activating this feature please ensure you change to factory default password as shown => here <=

Option 1:

In order to enable the HTTP or HTTPS Web Interface on the phone please go ahead as follows:

  • Press Menu Key

  • Select Settings
    image

  • Select Advanced
    image

  • Add the 456 or the changed Password

    image

  • Administration Settings

    image

  • Web Server Configuration

    image

  • The next menu will allow you to either only enable HTTP, or only HTTPS or both

    image

    image

  •  or to disable this again

Option 2:

Simply provision the feature from the provisioning server HTTP and HTTPs on

<PHONE_LOCAL
		httpd.cfg.enabled="1"
		httpd.cfg.secureTunnelRequired="0"
		httpd.enabled="1"
	/>

Option 3:

HTTP and HTTPs off

<web
		httpd.cfg.enabled="0"
		httpd.cfg.secureTunnelRequired="0"
		httpd.enabled="1"
	/>

Only HTTPs via the provisioning server:

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<!-- Forcing HTTPS only -->
<changes>
<config httpd.cfg.enabled="1"
		httpd.cfg.secureTunnelRequired="1"
		httpd.enabled="1"
	/>
</changes>
