I'm trying to register the Poly Trio 8300 and i'm getting the following error:

 

Prov|cfgProvStatusSet: error code '67' respCode '530' desc

 

The full error message:

You are trying to register it to where?

 

A SIP server or a Provisioning Server? In addition, what is the firmware you are using?

 

I can only suggest our FAQ:

If the phone is not using a provisioning server you will see these errors as it cannot download or upload mandatory files:

Thanks for your feedback!

I managed to overcome this problem. It was a DNS issue.

Now Ican ftp the <mac>.cfg and <mac--directory>.xml files successfully.
But now I have another disconcerting problem... the terminal cannot access via menu the contacts that are in the XML contacts file!! Any idea? (zero errors in the ftp of said Xml file and when recording a contact directly in the terminal, the xml is completely deleted... and if you reboot the terminal, the xml become empty)...

great news that you fixed your DNS issue. I would suggest you ensure you check the FAQ's listed in my Siganture.

this topic keeps changing and I personally cannot support you via the medium of a community forum.

 

You are not using the latest supported software and I am unaware of what your new issues are.

 

Other members an try and help you or please work with our support organization in your region.

 

If your device is out of warranty, and if the provided FAQ articles do not enable you to work this out, you may need to use professional services which is not free.

IAn why i don't have this option in the Menu?

the menu you are trying to follow is via the Phone UI aka on the phone and not via the Web Interface.

 

The UI itself can change from product to product and is usually only a guideline.

 

The current latest Software for a Poly Trio 8300 us 8.1.3:

Please add the Speed Dial via the Phone UI as explained in the FAQ articles shared and/or work with our official support organization.

as already outlined I cannot continue to support you via the medium of a community forum.

 

Please work with our Support Organisation in your region.

 

From a volunteer perspective, I would change the language to English when sharing screenshots so other volunteers can help you.

 

In addition, we do not know who programmed the device so there may be settings preventing the creation or manipulation of Speed Dials. Check a backup

With some additional sample CFG parameters that can be unzipped and imported to enable features.

 

The next step, if no other Volunteer replies, is to open a case with HP Poly Support as the community is not a replacement for your support structure.
