Hello KPR,
This reseller is able to open a support ticket for you as this is the designed escalation path for end customers.
This fact aside I just follow publicly available Mitel Documentation Configure MCD 4.1 for use with the Polycom SoundStation IP7000 SIP CoE 08-5159-00020 and once I had changed the SIP Multiline IP Set configuration to at least 2 Lines was able to make 2 outgoing calls and merge these.
I did not try to enhance this to more lines.
On the Polycom side I did not need to make any changes or follow the Polycom sided configuration suggestions.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier

The Mitel tech just finished up and we are now seeing the Merge option. We are now able to have a 3 party call and managed each caller as described in the manual.
The setting that was the cause was on the Mitel 3300 in the "SIP Device Capabilities Assignment" page, the field was "Replace System based with Device based In-Call Feature” is set to ‘Yes’. Although if more than 3 party conference is required, then leave this option set to ‘No’."
Now that multi-party calls we found by adding more MultiCall keys to this ext we can continue to add parties. I'll have to get back to the manual to confirm this devices limitations but I can see in the WebUI default value for "Calls Per Line" is '24',. If I am reading that right that will be well beyond what we require.
I beleive the cause of the issue was the original Mitel setup guide we were using before I even created a profile on these forums. It had us setup the device with a SIP trunk which was dialing but we could never get it to work right. We then switched it to a Generic SIP Device and that is about the time I started this posting. After reviewing the Polycom 8400 document our Mitel tech noticed this one setting was not correct and made the changes.
I want to thank you for your help and understanding. I am not a certified phone tech and as the client jumping back and forth between the Mitel tech and your support it has been difficult for me to confirm each and every step in the guides and how those settings have been applied to our phone system and Polycom device.
Thanks again, its great to finally make this device available for staff to use.
