Hello all,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that the Poly support portal has transitioned to the HP Pro portal on 4.12.2023.
- Jan 06, 2024 Question: Since the move from Poly to HP where can I download Software?
Resolution: Please see >here< for an explanation and create an Account for Poly Lens in the cloud
A list of older Audio, Video and Voice archived software and Release Notes articles are published on Official HP® Support knowledgebase. These articles are snapshot of Poly support portal before its sunset in Dec 2023. Any new software release after, please follow the new software distribution path.
To search for archived software and Release Notes, please follow the instructions:
- Open the Official HP® Support site.
In the search bar, type in “Archived' after the name of the product you are looking for, in this example we searched for the RMX Software and Archived Release Notes
This move comes with a bunch of cool perks, including enhanced flexibility, a streamlined overview, and the convenience of having all your support needs covered in one go. It's a game-changer! 🚀
To make the move very easy for our partners and customers,
This is how you can now download software updates for your Poly products
As part of the integration of Poly and HP, there have also been changes to the support portals. In this post you will learn quickly and easily how you can get software updates for your systems from now on.
Since December 4th, 2023, the website https://support.poly.com has been “closed” and refers to the HP portal.
Note on the legacy Poly Page
The new HP support page
Of course, existing links also change, bookmarks in your browsers have to be adjusted and the familiar way of downloading software updates is now different. To make the transition as easy as possible for you, let's look at this topic together.
Internal quick links:
– Software download
– Access to release notes
– Access to admin guides, user guides, etc.
Note:
In these instructions I carry out all the steps that a new or “inexperienced” user would / would have to implement.
For all pros: You can follow the following instructions and choose the path through the HP Pages or jump directly to https://lens.poly.com and start at “Step 10” below.
Software Download
Step 1
Open your browser and go to the URL “https://support.hp.com/”.
Step 2
Click on “Products” in the navigation above.
Step 3
Now click on “Poly Collaboration Devices” .
Step 4
Select the desired product category by clicking.
As a representative of the other categories, since the process is basically identical, I choose “video conferences” here.
Step 5
Choose whether you are looking for software for conference systems or webcams.
In this example, I select “Solutions for conference rooms”.
Step 6
Select the desired product by clicking (here Studio X52).
Step 7
Click “Software and Drivers” .
Step 8
From now on, software updates are no longer available directly via the support website as usual, but only via the Poly Lens Cloud platform.
Therefore, in the next step please click on “Access Poly Lens” .
Step 9
The Poly Lens Cloud Portal website will now open.
If you already have an existing Lens account, please log in to continue. If you don't yet have a (free) Lens account, you can create one now (“Sign Up” tab).
Step 10
After you log in, you should receive a message that software downloads are now possible via the Lens Portal. Click on the link.
Alternatively, click on “Manage” in the navigation and then on “Software Versions”.
Step 11
Select the desired device from the list in the drop-down field (select from the list or narrow it down by entering a search term).
