We are using a combination of SoundPoint IP 560 and IP 335 Polycom phones with our MXIE Zultys system.
After our latest server update, we have had problems with users outside of the office being unable to connect. Our phone provider has been unable to log in to any of the phones (via browser) because they say that the previous vendor changed the device passwords. As a result, they have basically given up any attempt at supporting our devices.
I have gone through the process they gave for a factory reset, but they claim that it still won’t allow us to reset the password, which seems counter-intuitive.
There must be some way to reset the passwords for these phones to the default. We were told that admin/456 was the default login for these, but I don’t know if that is correct either.
On top of this, I don’t know what they were going to change in the phone settings once they were logged in. I assume it was to specify the server IP, but I don’t know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello mfollowell,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
We do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.
Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.
If your phone is still able to connect to the Provisioning server please reset the password via the Device Parameters documented in the Admin Guide or here
If this is not possible please contact your Polycom reseller or the person you purchased the phone from.
We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
