I am trying to take a wav file and convert it to the proper format. I have not been able to get the proper format to upload for a custom ringtone on the VVX400. Any suggestions? I've done some googling and tried to follow a few guides with no luck.

Update, I got the file to upload but it doesn't play, it plays an aweful high pitched sound instead. Ideas?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The UC Software Admin Guide lists the correct audio format. You have so far no detailed what settings you are using. Please look at the example files provided when downloading the UC Software.
